Ctrl + T

Haha, what’s this? Another wonderful installment of the Little Known Excel Shortcut series? Actually, no, just a note about browsers. New Little Known Excel Shortcuts to come later.
I noticed many of you accessing the site — about half, if you must know (don’t freak out, I don’t know who you are and you won’t get fired) — are using Internet Explorer … a very strange choice for a bunch of people obsessed with tabs and keyboard shortcuts. Trust me, Firefox is the most Excel-y browser out there.
For a while a certain program I was using required IE, so I did most of my browsing in Firefox and then resorted to IE for just that program. However, I recently found out about a Firefox plugin that let’s you open an IE window — as Herbert Kornfeld, the Bad-Ass Of Accountz Reeceevable would say — as a muthafuckin tab in Firefox!!! That’s right, you can use IE within Firefox.
So that puts an end to the need to use IE at all, ever, that is if you can get enough balls to get IT to install it or get administrator rights on your system. One more reason — I also noticed BBalle looks messed up sometimes in IE.
P.S. For those of you who don’t use Firefox, Ctrl + T opens a new “tab” in your browser window, you know, like Alt + I + W opens a new worksheet.
