2006 Salary Forecast

Bankers may be in for another year of 20 - 25% total comp increases, according to an IDD article (via Dealbook).
Compensation consultancy Johnson Associates is predicting a 25% in total comp for bankers and a 10-15% increase in pay for the Street overall, while colleagues in fixed income are looking at 5-10% increases. Bringing up the rear with a predicted 5% increase in comp are those in commercial and retail banking.
That’s of course if things continue to chug along…
