Thoughts on the Gao Affair, Alex Triplett & on Email Fwd Celebs in General
By BankersBall on Sep 5, 2006 in Cube Life, Emails & Diversions
Wow. Having missed out on the Lucy Gao affair, we can only say: how lame. How lame that that, unfabulous, unscandalous, un-everything email became the “scandal” that it was. Granted she was only an intern, but is the Street getting limp? Is this what over regulation is doing?
WE here at BBalle WANT OUTRAGEOUS EXCESS not lameness.
On that note, a loving reader has submitted a tip on E. Alex Triplett, of too cute for jail fame. Trip successfully overcame his own little email forwarding disaster and is now an Associate in the Boston office of private equity firm TA Associates. So if you find yourself the victim of email forwarding, take heart, since life clearly goes on. In fact, we wonder if this type of celebrity is in some way beneficial… prob not in the short-term, though.
See here for Trip’s profile.
Our tipster claims that Trip “flipped out” after colleagues mentioned the Gao affair, which is pretty funny. Personally I would prefer being famous for liking my job and considering myself good looking rather than having a gay birthday party notable only because it was too anal.
Anyway, back to work. Thanks to JB for the tip.
