Asians Dig Wall Street, But Why?
By BankersBall on May 16, 2007 in Lifestyle, NYC
NYMag has an intriguing tidbit on the surge in the Asian population in the Financial District. South and East Asians — mostly American-born — represent nearly 30 percent of an area of lower Manhattan that doesn’t include Chinatown. That’s compared to 10% on average throughout the rest of the city.
The bulk of the population — 60% — is Chinese, followed by Korean (15%) and Indian (9%). Theories abound as to why, including one about Chinese people liking inexpensive, luxury condo living.
My guess is a bit basic — could it be there are a lot of Asians in finance???

Asians dig wall street just as much as do white people. Stop posting ur dumbass racial question like this. The rationale of asian people going to Wall Street is just as same as people of other race, you fucking dickhead.
