The FT via Alphaville reports that compensation experts are already projecting that year-end bonuses could be cut by 10 to 15 percent.
Aidan Kennedy, partner at search firm Christian & Timbers told the FT: “If confidence and deal flow does not return post the summer, given the increased staffing of European leveraged finance teams in the past two years, even bankers with good first and second quarters may, at best, see their bonus flat to last year.”
