Firm Predicts 15% Drop in London Bonuses

The 10 to 15 percent figure going around seems to apply to London banks, too.

Bloomberg is out with a story today with a 15 percent figure, citing London-based consulting firm the Centre for Economics and Business Research. The firm predicts a bonuses will drop from about 8.8BN pounds in 2006 to 7.5BN pounds this year.

B’berg also cites the Options Group as predicting bonuses down by “as much as 5 percent” in the U.S.

Previous predictions by other recruiting/compensation firms have put the figure at about 10 to 15 percent.
