Everyone knows about FreshDirect so let’s just go over some of the finer points-

Pros
- Good for bulk items (toliet paper, water — although there’s a limit of two per brand and also the guilt factor of getting only really heavy beverages delivered)
- Parbaked bread is decent and good to have on hand for emergency bread needs
- Cheaper than Whole Foods, if only because it’s not as easy to get distracted and buy a bunch of useless stuff online as opposed to in the flesh

Cons
- Prepared meals are too damn salty; pricewise you might as well just eat out and eat it fresh
- Not too impressed with the fruit
- Damned boxes
- Requires ability to plan; or ability to spend idle nights waiting for your toilet paper and water to arrive
