Profile

New York-based Global Design Network, around since 2002, offers lucites as well as an extensive array of non-lucite promotional goodies, such as totes, pens and portable hard drives.

The five-week process for delivery of your own lucite baby is enthusiastically detailed here. Like The Award Group, GDN offers a 3D preview of your creation.

it doesn’t take 5 weeks for GDN to produce a deal toy - they’ve done them for me from start to finish within 7 days when needed!! they’re AWESOME!!!

I had the pleasure of working with GDN several times, and they were by far the most creative, responsive, fast and most cost-effective tombstone makers I have ever worked with.
I always recommend them every time there is a deal toy to be created.

We were referred to GDN a few years ago and have been very satisfied with all the work they’ve done for us in both both promo/gift items and custom lucites “deal toys”. They’ve always provided us with outstanding customer service, polite and knowledgeable reps, quick turn-arounds and competitive pricing. They have a great selection of products and all the custom-work they’ve done for us has been creative (a lot of attention to detail) and still keep us within our budget. The 3D preview is very helpful.

I am very impressed by the professionalism of GDN.I have used many other companies and GDN is by far the most reliable and consistent. Their competitive pricing and commitment to superior quality speaks for itself. GDN always exceeds my expectations!

    To all above:

Please do not insult our collective intelligence by posing as “objective” commentors on the article. We understand you like your company, and would do nearly anything to market it. Just tone down the canned ploy a little and we’ll check out your website.

    GDN is irritating.
They market themselves so aggressively, that you end up buying their junk to get rid of them

PS -collective intelligence ,canned ploy? and who is we? its nice to see an american company trying to make it in this enviorment, lighten up! and Wermer i bet you very irritating yourself.

To wermer (WORM-er), I know Kim Russo personally and have used GDN for years without issue. You’re obviously NOT a banker or client or you’d know that all the vendors use the same factories; this public info so GDN’s ‘junk’ is the same ‘junk’ as the other guys. You apparently have nothing else to do but insult a successful company, get a life!!! you make me laugh.

Hi Wermer, a friend of mine just emailed me the updates on this site. Thanks for the press - any press is good press :) except, i don’t know you or think we’ve done biz. You’re name is not familiar as a first or last name? Sorry if you feel we’re aggressive, we’ve never heard that complaint but will take into consideration. All input is appreciated!! If you’d like, go to my site and email us your information, reference this site and i will make sure that my girls don’t ‘irritate’ you. Many thanks, Kim

How odd that Ms. Russo has appeared. I’m sure she has nothing to do with any of the other comments on the two articles written about her company. Bankersball, IP address correlations on any of the other positive marketing rhetoric?

Mike, “we” refers to the “collective” as in “us,” the public who is not affiliated with the “company” and has little “stake” in their “success” or “failure.” All I was “saying” was that all of the “canned” (i.e. ubiquitous) comments left became “sickening.” “Capiche?”

And Ms. Russo, kind of your “friend” to refer you to our little thread. Perhaps condescension is not the best way to go (if it were, we could remind you that 1) you are in marketing, and 2) YOU MAKE [redacted] TOYS FOR A LIVING, AND NOT EVEN COOL TOYS, YOU MAKE GLORIFIED TROPHIES). But then again, neither is subjectively plugging oneself on an article while feigning “just happened to drop by.”

I don’t mean to be harsh, I’m sure your company hocks great products. I just find your contribution to bankersball’s page views metric, and the subsequent spam “irritating.”

And when you respond, feel free to do so under one moniker.

by the way Ms. Russo, do you “…live the business and (get) involved in the deal world well beyond making deal toys?”

You’re one of those people that deems themself managing director aren’t you? Well guess what, I’m a managing director too…of my couch, and my lamp, hell I’m managing director of a really great stapler that’s on my desk at the moment.

I do not know GDN and any other persons responding above but must say that Phil has severe issues in order to lash out at a company and girl he knows nothing about. He definately has too much unconstructive time on his hands. Let the girl speak about her company in peace. And let’s hope Phil can utilize his time more constructively-the world has much need for volunteers to help others, animals, and the environment….

I volunteer to buy you a muzzle….no wait, a chinese finger trap.

Great contact throughout the process, just called with important info, was never annoying. Responded to emails promptly, even on weekends. Price was reasonable, and they worked with my budget. Sales force was pleasant…came and visited, gave out dealtoys, didn’t overstay welcome. Lucite was not terribly complex, but more than just a square…came out great. To be fair, I didn’t tweak the design once I saw the sample, so I’m not sure how they are with this step but aside from that I’d have to say I had an A+ experience.
