Glasgow claims Scwoogie for one of its own.
Glaswegians have added Scrooge McDuck to their list of famous Glaswegians, reports the BBC, joining the only other fictional character, Groundskeeper Willie.
Scrooge is described on the Glasgow City Council website as “the richest duck in the world; Donald Duck’s uncle and great uncle to Huey, Dewey and Louie.” Famous Glaswegians who are real people include Gordon Brown, Allen Pinkerton and Billy Connolly.
