The next time you say “I can’t, I can’t,” think about poor Dan Hill, who is saying “I CAN” despite overwhelming odds. The ex-Deutsche Bank investment banker quit his £80,000 job to take up carpentry — only to find out he was allergic to wood dust.
“I was heartbroken. My friends thought I was mad to give up my job, but I wanted to do something creative. I had no problems until I was doing woodwork all day,” Dan tells the Sun.
Meanwhile there is a light at the end of the tunnel (and no, it’s not a train) — he’s not allergic to Welsh oak!
