For a Russian style spa, check out this midtown joint. Okeanos, equipped with its own Platza master as well as a bar, is not your usual place. But don’t be intimidated. Okeanos offers your standard salon fare (haircuts, massages, facials), but the real appeal is the Banya. That’s the extra hot sauna. We were told that banyas are kept much hotter than your typical American sauna.
Use of the Banya comes free if you spend $120 in spa services; otherwise it’ll cost you $50 for half a day.
Oh, and don’t fear the Platza ($50) — also available at the Russian &Turkish Baths on 10th.

I went to Okeanos with the GF. Her masseuse had ripe OB. It was terriable. The place is over priced.
