Gordon Gekko as global nomad?
If the Wall Street sequel, Money Never Sleeps, is indeed coming out in 2009, it appears that the timing is once again problematic now that people are somewhat less exuberant. Knowing nothing about movies, let’s assume the script was written a while ago and more or less hammered out back in 2007. Did they opt for another morality tale (funnily enough, against LBOs — or should I say private equity — once more)?
Anyway, let’s turn some frowns upside down and engage in a little distraction. BBallers: get your ideas and predictions together for the movie. Here are two hints: it’s set internationally and Gekko is supposedly more “outwardly altruistic”
