Alexandre Graham, Banker with a Cause

The RBS banker who organized a drink-in on the Tube is reportedly under internal review.
Add Alexandre Graham to the BankersBall Hall o’ Fame. The Londoner responsible for organizing Facebook group “Circle line party – last day of drinking on the tube” to protest London mayor Boris Johnson’s alcohol ban on the Underground is fearing for his job.
Graham, 26, in a photo that may define him for years to come, looks pretty pimping in a tuxedo, red bow tie and what appears to be a bottle of Mumm Champagne. If he does get axed, what a way to go.
As you may have heard by now, the drink-in (see pics here) got a wee bit out of control. Graham’s Facebook group attracted more than 1,000 members, according to the Guardian. Other than the Graham group, other Facebook groups were organized though it’s not clear whether Graham’s was first.
Commented co-organizer Ian Rawlings about their intentions for organizing the event: “It was sticking two fingers up at the Establishment, making a small political point, catching up with mates and having a giggle. We did one lap of the Tube and were gone by 7.15pm. We never saw any of the violence later on or had anything to do with it. This is embarrassing for both of us. Alex is certainly not a lunatic as he has been quoted as saying. He is the most sensible person I know. We were just enjoying letting our hair down.”
