At least one VIP member has had his score canceled.

More news has come out about the GMAC/Scoretop cheating scandal, and it appears that the process of contacting users has begun.

Two commenters on the latest BusinessWeek article have reported that GMAC has contacted them via email in connection with either VIP membership or usage.

And the president of the Graduate Management Admission Council, David A. Wilson, told BusinessWeek on July 1 that “six months ago GMAC had canceled the score of one individual who had used Scoretop and bragged online about the advantage it gave him.”

Meanwhile, the GMAC has published a Scoretop FAQ:

Scoretop promotions and numerous postings on the site touted the benefit of VIP membership as having access to live questions. If you accessed the site but did not pay for VIP memberships, you did not have access to “JJs” and, therefore, have nothing to worry about. However, when evidence indicates a test taker paid for VIP membership and sought and obtained live GMAT items, GMAC may cancel the test taker’s score and notify schools of the cancellation. (emphasis added)

Interestingly enough, GMAC says that the odds that the Jungle Juice helped you is probably very slim. The organization says that they have been monitoring Scoretop for a while and that all live questions were removed.
