A frenzied weekend in pictures.
Late Sunday, reports emerged that lawyers are preparing bankruptcy filings after failed rescue talks with Bank of America and Barclays. While not final, several media outlets were reporting that the firm could file for bankruptcy before Monday morning.
Lehman, which has approximately 25,000 employees worldwide, has already laid off 3,000 employees in the past year, according to the WSJ. Approximately 10,000 - 12,000 Lehman employees are based out of NYC according to the NYPost.
