Excel Orgies

I keep reading the tagline for the JPMorgan 2006 Summer Analyst blog over and over again. I can’t figure out if they’re being sarcastic, or just super enthusiastic (and huge headed). Anyway, it’s mesmerizing:
“As everyone knows, corporate finance is the most important part of every bank, especially JP Morgan. This group is dedicated to the corporate finance summer analysts at all JPM offices for Summer 2006. This summer is going to be an orgy of Excel-induced I-Banking pleasure.” (emphasis added)

Or maybe they are just genuinely excited about what they’re doing. Most of them are just talking about which groups they are in or where they’ll be living in NY. No harm in pulling that “stunt.” Seems to me that they’re making the most out of what they’ve got.

The part about corp fin was taken out last week.
