Wall Street TV

Entourage creator Doug Ellin has a show about Wall Street dudes (aka “regular, fraternity brother-type guys”) in the works.
Ellin reportedly got the idea for the show after realizing that some of his friends were making $40-$50 million on da Street. Let’s hope it’s not too realistic (i.e. staring at the TV at someone staring at a monitor… for 14 hours) and that Ellin bring some much needed humor to the genre, which strangely has produced failure upon failure (remember Bull?)
“I wanted to do a show that deals with these men who are making obscene amounts of money at a young age, … It’s a comedy, but it will be more mature than ‘Entourage.’ The characters will be dealing with grown-up issues such as marriage, getting older and working within the professional ranks.” (Variety, via Wall St Folly)
That makes it at least two shows in development — news about Jim Cramer’s reality-based showed called “King of Wall Street” came out in January of this year, but nothing much seems to have come up since then. The show is reportedly in development, on the West Coast oddly enough.
