- Attention Goldman bankers — any future ownership of a business class airline will not be your own private “air taxi” (the company is reportedly interested in all business-class airline Silverjet). Well, at least that’s the official line. (Guardian)
- JPMorgan tops eFinancialNews’ European investment banking league tables, followed by Citi, UBS, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.
- Making partner … in the consulting world. Takes about 10-12 years, at least at a company like Deloitte (CareerJournal)
- B-school? Might as well call it finishing school. The National University of Singapore is requiring all MBA students to enroll in etiquette classes, citing declining social graces. Classes will cover “Western dining, Japanese tea appreciation, wine knowledge, grooming and formal communication skills.”
