Profile

Fractional jet company Blue Star unveiled their Hamptons Heli-Card program in the summer of 07.

In a Costco-like move, Blue Star is offering one helluva volume discount:
10 one-ways — $28,000 ($2,800 per)
20 one-way trips — $55,000 ($2,750 per)
30 one-way trips — $82,000 ($2,733 per)

Travelers get a complimentary bottle of Taittinger on each leg (don’t get too used to it, just for the ‘07 season it seems), and can touch down at a heliport of their choice from Westhampton to East Hampton.

Very old you say? Maybe you were not specific on how new you wanted your aircraft. BSJ is one of the few providers who gives you the option of any jet, any time, any place and multiple options they will provide. If your wallet only permitted you to spend towards a GII but you wanted a GIV… dig deeper. And you probably just didnt have good communication with your rep.

Regarding the response above by Mr Spieler, that seems to be a very typical response from an uneducated BJS’s broker, maybe the broker didnt do his job of educating the client? Maybe the broker had more money on the G2? Maybe the broker better wake up and realize that BSJ’s is no different then any other charter outfit- EVERY ONE OF THEM CAN OFFER “any jet, any time and any place”.

Oh Patrick, im dissapointed in you, this industry weeds out the “uneducated”, there is no room for it and I know I am very good at what I do and everyone else knows it too, but thank you for your inaccurate insight. If anything, its possible that the broker who Mr. Cayne worked with was “uneducated” or maybe it was just a factor of availability. Maybe the only aircraft available for the trip was an older one. In the entire scope of a trip, only a relatively small part is getting the most appropriate aircraft for the trip. Im excellent at what I do because of the relationships I have and the high level of communication/service that I establish with my clients. Im dissapointed to hear the service was poor but its very easy to place blame when the entire story is missing. Oh, and what other what other company in the space has a rewards program to the extent that BSJ does? And thats not even the icing on the cake. Too many haters in the world, please dont be one of them.
